Cpl. A.W. Thackwray, 29th Battalion, 3rd Div, Second NZ Exp Force,
Momi Bay, Viti Levu, Fiji, early to mid 1942, reg number NZ511,
 Possibly one of 6 MC's purchased in 1937, built Dec 1937 of which one surfaced recently.

Note: although described as "usual army spec" by Norton, this MC has a (narrow) sump plate,
years before introducction by the British Army!
